Dr Salim M. AlMalik, Directeur général de l’Organisation du Monde Islamique pour l’Éducation, les Sciences et la Culture (ICESCO), a reçu une copie d’un exemplaire rare du Saint Coran calligraphié par Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Hilal ibn Abd al-Aziz, connu sous le nom d’« Ibn al-Bawwab ».Cette copie a été offerte par Mme Ratiba Sefrioui, professeure d’université à la retraite, en reconnaissance du rôle pionnier de l’Organisation dans la préservation et la valorisation du patrimoine manuscrit dans le monde islamique.<img src="https://icesco.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/1112-1024x576.webp" height="576" width="1024">Au cours de la rencontre, qui a eu lieu le mercredi 24 décembre 2025 au siège de l’organisation à Rabat, Dr AlMalik a salué cette initiative et l’a qualifiée de bonne pratique pour la protection des manuscrits du monde islamique. Il a ajouté que ce genre d’initiatives encourage la diffusion du savoir et renforce le rôle de l’ICESCO dans la préservation des éléments culturels contre la disparition et la détérioration, ainsi que dans la promotion du patrimoine des communautés musulmanes et de leurs contributions culturelles, scientifiques et civilisationnelles.Pour sa part, Mme Sefrioui a donné une explication détaillée des éléments qui composent le manuscrit, qui lui a été légué par son défunt frère, M. Abdelhay Sefrioui. Ce manuscrit comprend un livret explicatif et une traduction en français de certaines sourates du Coran. A cette occasion, Mme Sefrioui a salué le rôle pionnier de l’ICESCO dans la promotion de la civilisation islamique et la sensibilisation des générations futures à l’importance de préserver l’identité arabe et islamique.<img src="https://icesco.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/1113-1024x576.webp" height="576" width="1024">Étaient présents à cette rencontre Dr Abdelilah Benarafa, Directeur général adjoint de l’ICESCO, et M. Amine Debbi.A noter que « Ibn al-Bawwab » est l’un des plus célèbres calligraphes des IIIe et IVe siècles de l’Hégire. Il a développé les principes fondamentaux de l’écriture cursive et codifié les proportions esthétiques entre les composants de chaque lettre. Il a écrit 64 exemplaires du Coran, dont un seul existe encore aujourd’hui. Il l’a rédigé à Bagdad en 391 de l’Hégire et il est conservé à la bibliothèque « Chester Beatty » à Dublin, en Irlande, et c’est à partir duquel a été réalisée la copie offerte à l’Organisation.<img src="https://icesco.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/1114-1024x576.webp" height="576" width="1024">

تسلم الدكتور سالم بن محمد المالك، المدير العام لمنظمة العالم الإسلامي للتربية والعلوم والثقافة (إيسيسكو) نسخة عن أصل نادر من المصحف الشريف خطها أبو الحسن علي بن هلال بن عبد العزيز الشهير بلقب “ابن البواب”، من السيدة رتيبة الصفريوي، الأستاذة الجامعية المتقاعدة، التي أهدتها للمنظمة تقديرا لأدوارها الرائدة في حفظ وتثمين التراث المخطوط في العالم الإسلامي.<img src="https://icesco.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/1112-1024x576.webp" height="576" width="1024">وخلال اللقاء، الذي جرى يوم الأربعاء 24 ديسمبر 2025، بمقر المنظمة في الرباط، أثنى الدكتور المالك على هذه الخطوة، مشيرا إلى أنها سنة حسنة لحماية مخطوطات العالم الإسلامي، وأكد أن مثل هذه المبادرات، التي تشجع على نشر المعرفة تعزز من أدوار الإيسيسكو الساعية إلى الحفاظ على العناصر الثقافية من الاندثار والتلف والتعريف بتراث المجتمعات المسلمة وإسهاماتها الثقافية والعلمية والحضارية.ومن جانبها قدمت السيدة الصفريوي شرحا مفصلا حول مكونات المخطوطة، التي آلت إليها من شقيقها المرحوم السيد عبد الحي الصفريوي، والتي تتضمن كتيبا تعريفيا، ونسخة مترجمة لمعاني بعض سور القرآن إلى اللغة الفرنسية، مشيدة بدور الإيسيسكو الريادي في التعريف بحضارة العالم الإسلامي وإذكاء الوعي بأهمية التمسك بالهوية العربية والإسلامية لدى الأجيال القادمة.<img src="https://icesco.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/1113-1024x576.webp" height="576" width="1024">حضر الاجتماع كل من الدكتور عبد الإله بنعرفة، نائب المدير العام للإيسيسكو، والسيد أمين الدبي.ويعد “ابن البواب”، أحد أبرز الخطاطين في القرنين الثالث والرابع الهجري، الذين طوروا أصول كتابة خط النسخ وتقنين النسب الجمالية بين مكونات كل حرف، وكتب أربعة وستين مصحفاً، أشهرها نسخة هي الوحيدة المتبقية مما خطه من مصاحف، كتبها في بغداد سنة 391هـ، وهي محفوظة في مكتبة “جستر بيتي” في دبلن بإيرلندا، والتي أخذت عنها النسخة المهداة للمنظمة.<img src="https://icesco.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/1114-1024x576.webp" height="576" width="1024">

Dr. Salim M. AlMalik, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), received a replica of a rare manuscript of the Holy Quran penned by Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Hilal ibn Abdulaziz, widely known as Ibn al-Bawwab, from Ms. Ratiba Sefrioui, a retired university professor, in recognition of ICESCO’s pioneering roles in preserving and promoting manuscript heritage in the Islamic world.<img src="https://icesco.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/1112-1024x576.webp" height="576" width="1024">During the meeting, held on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, at the Organization’s headquarters in Rabat, Dr. AlMalik commended this initiative, describing it as a commendable step towards the protection of manuscripts of the Islamic world. He affirmed that such initiatives, which encourage the dissemination of knowledge, strengthen ICESCO’s efforts to preserve cultural elements from disappearance and deterioration, and to introduce the heritage of Muslim societies and their cultural, scientific, and civilizational contributions.For her part, Ms. Sefrioui provided a detailed explanation of the components of the manuscript, which came into her possession from her late brother, Mr. Abdelhay Sefrioui. The manuscript includes an introductory booklet and a translated version of the meanings of some Quran surahs into French. Mrs. Sefrioui praised ICESCO’s role in promoting the civilization of the Islamic world and in raising awareness of the importance of preserving Arab and Islamic identity among future generations.<img src="https://icesco.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/1113-1024x576.webp" height="576" width="1024">The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdelilah Benarafa, Deputy ICESCO Director-General, and Mr. Amine Debbi.Ibn al-Bawwab is one of the most prominent calligraphers of the third and fourth Hijri centuries. He developed the principles of the Naskh script and established aesthetic proportions governing the components of each letter. He also wrote 64 copies of the Quran, the most famous of which is the only surviving manuscript among the Qurans he penned. It was written in Baghdad in 391 AH and is preserved at the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin, Ireland, from which the replica donated to the Organization was produced.<img src="https://icesco.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/1114-1024x576.webp" height="576" width="1024">
